Yuta Nakamura

Research Scientist at Meta Platforms, where I work on incorporating AI into ads to deliver better outcomes. I hold a PhD in Computer Science from DePaul University. My PhD work focused on program analysis, system-level provenance graphs, and differential analysis of execution traces, with a deep interest in understanding how systems behave and where they break.

I have a passion for coming up with strategy. Whether it’s designing algorithms, competing at chess, reading deeply, or playing poker, I’m drawn to problems that reward careful thinking. Outside of work, I enjoy running and scuba diving — and I’m always trying to get more people into the water!
